Dr. Alice Bassani was raised just outside of Philadelphia and is happy to be staying local in the City of Brotherly Love. Dr. Bassani attended Emory University in Atlanta, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and a minor in Global Health. Her research in polymer chemistry led her to discover an interest in dentistry. She received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania with honors in both Clinical Dentistry and Radiological Sciences. She was awarded the International College of Dentists Humanitarian Award and the Eisa Mozaffari Award in Radiology.
Upon graduating, Dr. Bassani continued her training by completing a General Practice Residency at the Lehigh Valley Health Network – Muhlenberg Hospital. She gained extensive training in restorative dentistry, root canal therapy, oral surgery, implant placement, and pediatric dentistry.
Dr. Bassani is a member of the American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and is Invisalign certified. She enjoys attending continuing education courses and collaborating with colleagues in order to provide her patients with the best comprehensive care. Dr. Bassani strives to make dental appointments as comfortable as possible so that her patients can feel relaxed during their visit. She supports her patients with compassionate and meticulous care in order to help them achieve their goals of healthy, strong, and beautiful teeth.
Dr. Bassani lives in Philadelphia with her husband, Tom, who is a pediatrician. They love walking their dog, Lucy, throughout the city, enjoying the ever-growing restaurant scene, and working on their home.
